Our mission is to bridge the gap between national policy development and implementation at the local and regional levels across the UK. We bring together mayors, local leaders and practitioners with national policymakers to develop the innovative ideas, policy and practice to drive local growth and reform.
We provide Network members with a unique three-pillar offer of support to equip them with the practical tools and expertise to deliver inclusive growth and public service reform.
Convene
Members gain space for development and peer-to-peer learning, and collaborative opportunities to help turn bold ideas into action. We combine senior engagement on key policy issues with the practical focus of places that want to deliver for their local communities.
Support
Support to develop, test and scale new approaches to collective challenges. This includes policy, implementation and economic expertise, alongside our partners at Metro Dyanmics and Future Governance Forum.
Reform
We build the evidence base for what works across places, to help advocate for new and innovative practice, and the most effective use of devolved powers and funding.
